2 PM to 5 PM
Jenny will be in the Education room to facilitate a special edition of the workshop entitled Repositories: Lost and Found Edition.
For this event, participants will engage in conversation with each other to create a collective, augmented reality zine about lost objects. Participants will be invited to write a short description of an object they have lost. Based on these descriptions, subsequent participants will render their interpretations of the objects, through drawing. Participants will be guided on how to create augmented reality layers with their images, viewable through a tablet or smartphone with the application, Aurasma. Following the workshop, participants will receive in the mail a printed zine with the collection of lost and “found” objects created during the workshop.
The Happening is ongoing, free of charge, and open to all visitors. No reservation is required.
Repositories is the result of a collaboration between Jenny Lin and DHC/ART Education in conjunction with the exhibition Ed Atkins: Modern Piano Music.
Drop-in workshop (bilingual): 2 to 5 PM @ 465 St-Jean St.
