The end of Richard Mosse The Enclave and Valérie Belin Surface Tension also marks the end of DHC/ART Education’s public programming, where we have welcomed more than 1400 people into our galleries. Some of these visitors have also taken part in Lucida, a cyanotype workshop that we’ve offered in conjunction with group visits.
Sunday, February 8 is the opportunity for the general public to create at DHC/ART! It’s free!
DHC/ART educators – in an upbeat and casual atmosphere – will be facilitating the Lucida workshop continuously from 1 to 5 PM. This will be located in the Education room 465 St-Jean Basement. Also present will be sound and visual artist Pohanna Pyne Feinberg, one of the growing number of local artists we’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with for our workshops. Pohanna designed Lucida to appeal to visitors of all ages and all levels of photography experience. Lucida is a dynamic and accessible workshop and it is open to everyone!
Additionally, DHC/ART will be offering a guided tour of both exhibitions starting at 1:30 PM. This is for those who would like to discuss the artworks with other visitors in the galleries.
The visit will be bilingual. Space is limited to 20; first come, first served.
Please meet in the lobby at 451 St-Jean Street.
